We are delighted to announce a £6.6m investment into a rooftop solar system on a major Marks and Spencer (M&S) logistics warehouse in Leicestershire.
At the time of installation in 2015, this was the biggest rooftop solar system in the UK.
The system provides M&S with long-term, fixed price electricity at a significant discount to the price of electricity purchased from the grid. The renewable energy generated on the site is fully traceable, measurable and reportable, providing M&S with demonstrable evidence of its progress towards meeting its 2040 net zero commitment.
